The third installment of our music series with RootStock Arts, this special evening features Songs for Many Lives by acclaimed artists Sruti Sarathy and Roopa Mahadevan. The multimedia performance draws inspiration from the diverse histories of South Asians in North America and the Bay Area, blending original Carnatic music compositions with live improvisation, documentary footage, and movement. Centering stories of community, resilience, and reinvention, Songs for Many Lives celebrates the many ways immigrant communities build home and shape the world around them. Join us at Michael’s Second Act for this intimate preshow experience before The Lunchbox.
